Terms of Service

Thank you for joining CommunityAQ! We want to make your experience on our website as rewarding as possible. In order to do that we require that all users agree to the following:

• You must be at least 13 years old to participate.
• You will limit your photos and text to those relating to monitoring of air pollutants, data interpretation, mitigation of air quality issues, environmental education, and related topics.
• You will only upload your own photos or photos with permission such as through Creative Commons. You are responsible for making sure you have the correct permissions to post any images.
• Political or religious posts are not allowed and will be deleted by the admins.  Advocacy for science-based decision making, independent of political affiliation, is allowed.
• Bullying, and use of any foul language is forbidden.
• Discriminatory language with regard to race, gender or sexual preference is forbidden.  CommunityAQ is an inclusive community that advocates for environmental justice.
• The site administrator has the right to delete any user profile and ban future registrations at any time for violation of these terms of service.
• We do not guarantee that the content you upload will be saved indefinitely.  In particular, you should maintain backup copies of your photos and text you would like to save for future use.
• These terms of services may be revised at any time. Modifications will be announced at the top of the user feed.
• Users may delete any content they generate and/or cancel their registration at any time.
